Handgun, Carbine, Shotgun, and Taser Training
Firearms training and CCW classes from Adco Firearms are structured in a modular format to help fit the needs and schedules
of all levels of shooters.
The classroom sessions have no age requirements since there is no live ammo used, but we ask that everyone attending be of a
responsible maturity level for the subject manner.
Saturday all day standard CCW classes begin at 9am, and includes same day range time for a cost of $150 per student. At the end of this one day class, the students will have met the requirements for their CCW. The Saturday classes are conducted independently from the weekday classes, and hours/classes do not transfer between each other.
These classes meet the CCW requirements for both OH and MI residents.

Handgun 101: Handgun Safety/Familiarization
This is a crayons and coloring book entry level class geared toward the first time gun owner.
This course covers the fundamentals of handgun function and safe gun handling.
Those attending this class do not need to bring anything with them other than an open mind.
If you own a handgun, bring it but it is not necessary.
Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

Handgun 201: Fundamentals of shooting a handgun
This class covers the fundamentals of firing a handgun. You will learn the proper, grip, stance, trigger control and sight alignment.
Topics covered will include, strong hand/weak hand shooting, supported/unsupported, consistent follow through and breath control techniques.
You must attend Handgun 101 before attending this class. If you have a handgun, bring it to this class. Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

Handgun 301: Introduction to defensive handgun application
In this class we discuss the issue of carrying/using a handgun as a lethal, defensive weapon.
CCW holster selection and every day carry options, home weapon storage and defense are discussed as well.
Those attending this class should bring a handgun, 2 magazines and holster. Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

Handgun 401: Putting it into action
401 goes over techniques for shooting while moving, drawing from a holster, and the proper use of cover and concealment.
Critical manipulation drills are taught covering reloading, malfunction clearing, and weapon retention.
Those attending this class must bring a handgun, 2 magazines and holster. Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

Handgun 501: Lights out!
Lights out will enter into the world of low light/no light weapons deployment.
This class is an introduction to engaging threats in low light/no light conditions. The dark is when most attacks occur, and when we practice shooting the least.
Drills in combination with the other techniques discussed in the previous classes will be performed in this class as well.
Those attending this class must bring a handheld or weapon mounted light, handgun, 2 magazines and holster. Students will be firing simulated ammunition so eye protection is required.
The extra cost in this class is to cover the simms rounds, which are basically $1 a shot!. Each student will get 25 rounds.
Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

Carbine 101: Manipulation and application of the fighting AR
This course will cover the use of a defensive carbine including, gear selection, standing and prone firing positions along with the use of cover and concealment.
Topics covered include, disassembly/reassembly, manipulation and sling use/selection.
Those attending this class need to bring their own AR style carbine/rifle, sling, magazines and full kit if preferred.
Do NOT bring any ammunition to this indoor, 2 hour class.

5 Day CCW package
Pay for all 5 classes in the CCW package up front and it only cost $150 including range time. This price is for the day or evening classes.
Range time will be scheduled on a Saturday.

M26/X26 Taser Training
if you’re a security professional, small/mid-size police department or bail agent looking to get trained on this technology, look no further. We can come to you or you can come and train with us. Exposure to Taser technology is not required, but recommended.
